I think Elmer B.’s most poignant and underrated soundtracks is “To Kill A Mockingbird.” Talk about setting the mood to perfection throughout … pure genius.

Love any tract by Elmer Bernstein. He and Leonard Bernstein — no relation — were called Bernstein East and Bernstein West, as Elmer (Bern-STEEN) ruled Hollywood and Leonard (Bern-STINE) conquered Broadway.
