However now, they were more curious with this unknown thing. Despite being nearly 8 feet tall the creature was somehow larger than them. It was not hostile.
Contemplating for a moment they decided to take risk and observe it. Hand resting on the hilt of their blade as they seemed to size it up.

The rhythm pulsating through the air led them closer and closer before revealing the source. Some sort of creature was chittering into the night calmly observing its surroundings. A sight that intrigued Masanori.
Perhaps a year ago they would have launched themselves into battle without thought.

Eventually they'd arrive at a decent sized treasure hoarder camp. Seemingly satisfied with their find they then turned to the pyro user.
"I heard there was some local trouble. Ready your weapon and we shall dispatch the troublesome rabble.

Without much as looking back Masanori began to trudge off confident Diluc would follow them. Curiously enough they didn't stay within Mondstadt and instead led Diluc outside the walls.
"I know a camp nearby perfect for what I have in mind."
They spoke cryptically.

The samurai soon turned to lead the way. Where exactly they were going was a mystery. They did however turn back to Diluc with expectant look even while hidden under their mask.

The hulking warrior would take a no as answer for they had since been humbled. However part of them still had a burning curiosity to see what the chief of justuce was made of in battle.
