This is wonderful!

You’re right. A clearly stupid man was elected with no apparent qualifications but his last name. And the Supreme Court put their thumb on the scale. That taught republicans they could cheat and win the presidency.

A Canadian man just died in ICE custody. No one from another country should come here. If Americans aren’t safe, people from other countries certainly aren’t.

And anyone who supports her is the same.

I hope we’re there, but I didn’t expect it to get this bad, even though I started calling him a fascist 10 years ago. How much worse could it get before it’s over? I thought Covid wound teach them. I thought women dying from childbirth, not abortion was enough.

Me too. If only there weren’t many to take his place.

You must be very receptive. Every child isn’t able to recognize parental narcissim, since they don’t have a frame of reference. It makes me think, again of nature vs nurture.

You have to wonder why anyone would begin listening to him. My mother never said a word about politics my entire life. After she died I discovered she’d gotten something from him because she sent him money. She also sent W money. There was a signed photo. I was shocked and saddened.

That’s interesting, that you appropriately judged him and his party. It makes me wonder about what makes a person care about justice and fairness or the opposite, hateful. Is it nature or nurture?

I had the same thought watching The West Wing recently. The divide between the parties about the same issues hasn’t changed. Only now republicans have gotten exponentially more hard right and have no qualms about hurting people because they’re certain their supporters won’t hear the facts.

I’ve had a similar experience. As you get involved in politics you go from thinking you just disagree with republicans to seeing them as evil. They’re hypocritical about everything they’ve ever claimed to stand for. Their supporters don’t look past the talking points, so they believe the lies.

Funny how that happens! 🙂

in 2020. I’ve never given any candidate so much of my time, energy and money.

I did the same to vote for her for Senate the first time she ran. She’s too smart. Billionaires are afraid of her because she’s has this figured out & has had plans to fix the mess for decades. Now they’re dismantling her baby the CFPB. If only the voters weren’t so ignorant. I worked to elect her

Could be worse. Bezos’ wedding could be on the front page. 😏

For an example of what not to do, look at McConnell.
