Yessss, I do the same !! I don't really use classes, just asking the players to come with a concept, vague idea of what they want and we will create something around it. Homebrew world, homebrew everything and if it doesn't exist in the world yet, we will find a way to make it exist.

We are exploring them all at once. I love to tie up everyone to the plotline and to others too, I never had a group so willing to work together and support each others because they really are all implied in this shit in some way. One information lead to another for another player later. ♥

And the informations will have repercussions. The plot is tied to a lot of missing info about centuries old things and people, and this guy is a pro in finding them. Holding them until he could get something in return. He will basically unlock the backstory for some players.

For the undead : one of my players asked at the start of the campaign if they could include a necromantic amulet to their inventory. I said yes, and ended up figuring out how to use it, and... actually used it in a cemetery.
I was kinda speechless but I had a plot offered on a plate 😂

Ehehe it's basically a big meeting with all the guildmasters of the city they are currently in and is actually down after an undead invasion (caused by mistake by the players), and one of the guildmaster is taking advantage of the situation. He has a lot of info and is sick of being looked down.
