As the most basic needs & rights of the females of society continue to rank as 'less than' across the board, gotta say I'm not surprised at this news. Hope they assess & share what they've got anyway. At this point, I'll take what scraps we're allowed to have. I'm so, so tired.

I've said it before: I would bet money if I gave lawmakers (state, national, Supreme Court) a test on female anatomy, the female reproductive system, & the gestation process the majority of them would fail spectacularly. So sick of their submoronic garbage. And they wonder why birthrates are low.

Oh there's always something more important, it seems. I've observed over time that most male members of society, however bold or subtle, however 'well-intended', appear to be fueled by deciding what their female counterparts are allowed to do, what to say, where to be... it just never ends.

I'd also add anecdotally, I've witnessed (many times) & experienced (including as a child) that the ones who do actually stay - out of "honor" or some such self-praising reason - do so begrudgingly, oozing contempt, piling on guilt & blame, total resentment that *her* illness happened to *him*.

Rewinding back to the original premise: Why are adults (esp. in a relationship) "play fighting"? Like... don't put your hands on me w/anything but adoration & w/respect. Yes, do aggressively jerk me/push me out of the way of a drunk driver running up on the curb, for instance. But otherwise? Nope.

This. If you lose, get over it, learn, do better, etc. is generally a good attitude. But - BIG but - when it's essentially a knockout in the first round coupled with little/no early indicators and/or is contrary to all indicators, it's worth a once-over, same as a teensy margin win would be.
