Some light reading….for research purposes. Despite the fact I have a history degree, I’ve largely avoided learning US History beyond what was required. The k-12 textbooks lied to me and when I corrected the lies my teachers ignored me so I started to hate it. I won’t remain ignorant any longer.

There’s a caveat to this. Indie authors HEAVILY rely on KU and Amazon to make their books accessible. Some people can’t sell directly and keep stock. Bookstores don’t really or at all have indie books and ESPECIALLY by marginalised people. I wish we would think about this #booksky #blackbooksky
