Boak, what an absolute invertebrate we have as a prime minister. I used to think the UK stood up to bullies but apparently we just sort of stand behind them now, staring while they steal lunch money.

With our luck, Starmer will side with the US. Any sensible person can see theyβre a country in decline and hitching ourselves to them is stupid but Starmer seems to enjoy being on the wrong side of things

If this is what the Americans call diplomacy they can keep it. While Iβm on the topic, Keir Starmer not standing up for Canada has sent me this week. If we end up on the wrong side of this I will lose my shit. The wrong side is on the side of the US, just to be clear.

I am completely flabbergasted at the way a visiting president was just treated. He was shouted at, insulted, accused of not showing respect, all while sitting calmly answering questions (when he was allowed to answer them). The man is a bloody saint for not getting up and socking JD Vance one.

haha! Yes exactly, muttering to themselves about young pups today and how they can't wait to get home and have a good nap π

They're planning on vetoing new sanctions on Russia. I suppose now that Trump's come out as a sleeper agent for them, Orban feels empowered to do it. They're both such flipping wazzocks

ahh, another trooper Proctor cock up. You shock me - when I heard his testimony I thought he sounded like someone that had been out of control for a long time. I kept scrolling on that timeline expecting it to end but it just kept going

There's nothing wrong with being decent, the problem is so many other people aren't. I do find it strange how revered the president is in the US. It doesn't matter whether you're conservative or liberal here, we all think the PM is a twit, whatever party they belong to π

He's speed running to the end of the world mate. I saw a blog post last time he was in office that gave a multitude of reasons why he could be the antichrist. They were all weirdly accurate too. I am not religious but if I was, I'd be bricking it π

(I mean them, not you π). I'm forever baffled by people who have a particular viewpoint and try to force it on to others. Just let people live their lives, crikey.

I think it's good practice to apply to most aspects of your life. Don't stick your nose in, and if someone doesn't agree with you, just shrug and move on. Trying to get everyone to think the same way is very 1984 isn't it

Whenever I see negative reactions like that one you describe, I always want to say to the person that has a problem that two good maxims to live by are 'mind your own business' and 'don't tell other people what to think' and if everyone did that, I think we'd be a bit happier π

I do think this is partially true, but the cynical part of me wonders if an isolated and economically weakened populace is easier to control which does sound a little bit conspiracy theorist now I type it out but I'm not sure I'm totally wrong

This would be HEAVEN to me. I'd have an area for younger dogs too, but giving a home to some of the older ones would be so lovely

I'm not sure they're capable. I really don't like saying 'they're all the same', but they're starting to prove that right aren't they? They're not THAT different from the tories at the moment and the tories are a bunch of quite stupid people
