The universe of course is teeming with the ingredients to create life. It's not like life emerged from a vacuum. The fact that we don't see more life suggests that the universe is just...huge.

Of course, the non-living would have to become more complex because, at some point, complex biology emerged from the non-living world.
Looking at this from a dialectical point of view, some property of the non-living world would have to have the properties to create life.

The number of times Harris appeared on the trail with Bernie Sanders or anyone on the progressive left....Basically zero if you don't count Tim Walz as a member of the progressive left.

We also need to become familiar with Nick Land, an English philosopher who coined the term dark enlightenment and basically works in lockstep with Yarvin.
Land is also a believer in racial science and accelerationist policies that influence many corners of the alt-right.

The next step of untangling this web of evil is digging into the Austrian and Chicago economic schools that Yarvin and his acolytes worship. Particular figures that Yarvin cited as influences are Murray Rothbard, Ludwig Von Mises, and Joseph Schumpeter.

As the article states, Fungi are essential to many natural processes that help to sustain life. They are vital for life on this planet. Who knows what sort of cascading effects will occur with that many fungal species going extinct. The effects could literally transform life on Earth as we know it.

It's even more disgusting when you figure in their policies accelerating the use of fossil fuels (esp coal).
Is it a conspiracy theory to suggest this is a form of geoengineering for nefarious geopolitical purposes?
I don't think it's a reach to suggest this.

We need a vision for intimate direct democracy, where choosing your leadership is part of a long process of active community deliberation. Even the act of leadership should be seen as community participation and not individual success.
Leadership should be a product of community, not vice versa.

This, of course, doesn't minimize the vision of the Silicon Valley tech bros and their plans for Greenland as the future hub of their "network cities."
