Yup. We brough The Kid to one of the first marches in June, strangers gave us a bottle of wather and one of those battery-run fans. (OTOH, that day was also The Kid's crash course in Cantonese cursing).

Huge fan of Taiwanese shaved ice, just... in HK, seems like most of the places I've seen it have been in the middle of large shopping malls where by the time you get the shaved ice you're already freezing from the AC...

Don't know if you ever watched the (eminently missable) show Hack, but their Philly shots would be all over the place. There'd be dialogues in a moving car where the driver was in one neighborhood & the passenger was in another.
