Let me explain tariffs: Imagine Target sells a shirt that's made in China for $20 per shirt and sells it on the rack for $30. Now, Trump imposes a 50% tariff on Chinese goods. Now Target buys the shirt for $30 and the rack price increases to $40. You pay for that tariff.
