just saw a group of masked men stuffing masked ICE agents into an unmarked car, who were saying "we're ICE we're ICE!" but the abductors shouted to the crowd "no we're ICE!" no one knew who was ICE, so no one in the crowd said anything.

I hate reading 'popular' books in their heyday because there's so much pressure to like them. I prefer answering truthfully when people ask if I've read them and then once the fervor has died down I can read them quietly and normally, when no one gives a shit about my opinion.

My 6yo was losing her mind at bedtime and if she had just shut the fuck up for three minutes she'd have been asleep but nooooooo she had to shriek about not being tired and not being able to sleep for 45 minutes until we were all at our wits end and she finally passed out and parenting is the worst.

In my experience using LLM tools (it's "encouraged" where I work), what stands out to me the most about it is that it never says "I don't know". It ALWAYS has an answer for everything, and just like humans that act like that, what it says is never trustworthy .
