Probably autistic, vaguely queer-ish, cool with being she/her, a little bit furry. Come to my liminal space, we have cookies and fibre arts.

I'm saying this as a bi: everyone dressed like this in Canada in the '90s.

You know what the fucked up thing about that is? Those same people aggressively insist that charity — helpfulness — is a virtue! But if something is a blessing to offer, IT CANNOT BE A SIN TO ACCEPT.

Any gardeners in the family? Plant hardiness zones are determined by minimum temperatures in different regions. planthardiness.gc.ca has maps of those zones from 1961-1980 and 1981-2010 with no commentary.

Anesthesiologists are stand-up comics in disguise. When I had my gall bladder out there was this 70yo German dude asking me "is this your first time with general anaesthesia?" "Yes." "Mine too!"

This is *such* an old tech support story that I've heard many times. I don't know if it really happened that often or if it happened once and got spread around.

After breakfast I take my coffee and sit in an armchair and tell the cat "come sit!" and he comes running to lounge on my boobs and watch birds out the window.

Our guy likes to sit on the sofa in a position that is touching both me and my husband. Like, on my lap with a paw stretched out to be on his leg.

Thank ya. I am sure there are some weird stitches in there but knitting is an exercise in embracing imperfections.

I just put a splash of lemon juice in my water bottle. Tastes better so I drink more water, and has electrolytes.

One time in the lab I couldn't remember what disposable transfer pipettes were called, and told a coworker I needed to go to the storeroom and get more sucky-squirties.

Yes, I keep thinking that and snickering every time someone says the word, but I'm getting over it. XD

Did people have this complaint about the sport known as skeet shooting? Maybe skeet shooting is older than referring to the other kind of shooting as skeet.

Also my top three soups: 1. Navy bean and ham -- like pea soup but with white beans instead 2. A bunch of random vegetables and tiny tortellini 3. Chicken, leeks and barley
