They do not have legislative power, no, but they have procedural power they aren't using.

Absolutely the worst thing I’ve ever heard of at DOD. In my entire life.
This is the 20 alarm fire. It’s happening.

The atrocities being presaged here will make J6 look like a playground game.
He's putting the finishing touches on a coup that Dems seem to think they can stop come 2027. This country will be rubble by then.

Musk, DOGE, Trump, their problem is they don't fear prison or death enough. We should fix that.

Dems need to hear loud and clear that the midterms cannot be the focus now. Stand up RIGHT NOW and halt every proceeding until this is reversed. The atrocities being presaged here will make J6 look like child's play.

But Marines have their own Judge Advocates, they don't fall under the Navy JAG Corps at all.

Hitler's generals tried to kill him, so I hope you're right.

Democrats must hear that this is not a problem that can wait until the midterms. There will be no reversing the atrocities that are coming. It's time to throw everything and the kitchen sink into stopping government NOW before we get used to it!

It would take one conference call to say "Never again. We will respond as a bloc to bullying every time." A NATO for blue states. This isn't that hard, and it would make you immensely popular.

"We are the federal law" can never be true in a democratic republic. Trump thinks he's a king, a tyrant one at that.
Well, we know how to handle tyrants. SST.

Imagine watching Trump slobber all Putin's boot all these years and somehow believing that Trump means to go after the Russian-controlled minerals in Ukrainian territory.

"Essential" or "mission critical" workers are the ones who can keep minimum functions going in an emergency or a shut down, but the government can't sustain those efforts with skeleton crews only. These agencies will grind to a halt in months, and that is the point.
Midterms are way too late!

Elon Musk hijacked the government and is setting fire to it all to build his own empire on its ashes.
And Democrats have no plan to stop the arsonists! They think reclaiming the ashes in 2 years is the prize not to be distracted from here!

Real profile in leadership there, Thom. Certainly can't expect someone to put country before self-preservation, can we?
Oh wait, there's the whole armed forces that you just put in the hands of someone you know can't do the job. Their oath is enough for them to take that risk, why isn't yours?

There must be absolutely no pretense of honoring this 10 year term: the moment Dems can, he needs to be removed for what will be abundant cause. No fussing, no wiring about R bellyaching. And then investigate him. Promise it now.

"The President of the United States is a mouthpiece for dictator Vladimir Putin against the democratic country Russia is actively invading" is a sentence that could not be imagined just 9 years ago, and can barely be said in the halls of power today, but it is possibly true to everyone seeing it.

This could not be clearer. There's not even a fig leaf here, this is full frontal fascism built on a foundation of nothing but invidious discrimination.

to thwart his ambitions. It's a hostile attack with barely a pretense of anything else.
Musk must be stopped, prosecuted, and either imprisoned or executed at the end of all this. Justice will come for him. The only question is whether there will still be legitimate courts or only the guillotine.

and scientific efforts. Facebook abandoned "move fast and break things" as a motto once FB was a major tech company because it will destroy established institutions. Which, of course, is the point here: DOGE's "efforts" have fallen hardest on entities that have scrutinized Musk's companies and stand

Not just abnormal, unlawful! DOGE has been given no authority to dictate anything to real agencies!

Russia's greatest foreign policy victory in decades, and it came without firing a shot - the U.S. simply abandoning Ukraine and the international order the U.S. created to never again allow an offensive war to succeed.
This admin is riddled with Russian assets.

I'm sure he can just get in a Space X rocket, turn it upside down, and hit go. It's the same principles just in reverse, right? Pretty easy for a smart guy like him to figure out.
