I think you should let it happen if the player is doing the dodge cancels into block properly instead of forcing that heavier dodge in this case
dodges shouldn't be perfectly invulnerable anyway

Wanting to make games (even fighting games) but knowing it's unfeasible to do such a large project, wanting to make comics but not having the discipline due to AuDHD, having all those blocks...
