I had to do the same thing in my company. Don’t know our company’s position on this matter anymore.

This shift is painful, and I know it might make me seem less kind, but it’s necessary for my healing. No more Mr. Nice Guy. Maybe that means I’ll be a worse person in some people’s eyes, but I’ll be a person who survives. #Authenticity #Boundaries #StayTrue #NoMoreMrNiceGuy

You don’t get to take advantage of what we contribute while tearing us down. If being unapologetically authentic makes me a “demon” in your eyes—condemned by your double standards and cherry-picked “divine rules”—then so be it. I choose integrity over fitting into someone else’s narrative.

So, I’ve made a decision: I won’t accept people in my life who sacrifice their humanity for convenience or personal gain. If this makes some people mad, so be it. Staying true to my convictions and values matters more than pleasing anyone.

I still believe that the world would be so much better if we chose kindness and compassion. But the truth is, the altruistic kindness I’ve lived by is taking a toll on me.Anxiety and stress have reached an all-time high because I’ve been swallowing my feelings and my anger, all in the name of kindness

I’ve been grieving the fact that kindness isn’t as common as I once believed. This year has shown me—through events like the Olympics, the hate targeting minorities, and the current political climate—that empathy, compassion are often missing. I’ve cried this year, mourning this lack of humanity.
