Avoided social networks all these years... until now. Let's see how bad this will be for what's left of my brain.

No one will believe in the mundane answer 😂. Hope it fits the thesis of the show!

Amazing art direction. I never thought I'd see a ship design that actually looks like it smelled bad...

I'd love to ask David Lowery if there was a particular Kubrick shot he had in mind in Episode 3 when Jude Law confronts Benjar Pranic about "The Big Score" in lieu of sharing the tea boiling in the background 🫖

It's a tragedy that the more thoughtful and introspective a student is the more vulnerable they may be to discouragement, spiralling into a kind of impostor syndrome resulting in passing up opportunities through no fault of their own.
Are self assessments used to identify & direct support for them?

Though I should say it's a valuable barometer to ensure we constantly test that education and personal potential is being fully cultivated for all.

I'd say you're fortunate 😁 psych is too soft a field, prone to the whims of the current zeitgeist.

Given the subject ages are restricted to 18 and younger, it also makes me wonder if the kind of mathematics that is taught during those years is far less prone to inaccurate self assessment. You can't pretend to be right when answering math questions at that level. Maybe a humbling factor?

Checking the Inclusion Criteria 2 & 3, it does seem at surface read to miss out on the "overconfidence" factor where the comparator is biased towards the affirmation for the "in group" i.e. is X or Y better at [domain]. However, the more insidious social culprit may be the question is X or Y worse..

I'm curious to know if the meta study tackles confidence (or arrogance) as a generalised factor? For the arrogance factor, I hope the boys don't have "girls are inferior at xyz" or such notions fostered by that age. Equally, I hope there is a fostering of feeling secure in your self determination.
