OpenAI says it has proof that Deepseek used its work without permission to create something meant to undermine and destroy its product. On behalf of all the authors whose novels and stories were taken as training data, oh no that must be so hard for you.

INFINITY TRAIN was an incredible kid's show and should be held in the same esteem as something like OVER THE GARDEN WALL or ADVENTURE TIME.

No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you. Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser.

I've built a machine that can be Confidently Wrong. It can also make pictures that all look a bit the same, as well as make a video of you kissing any celebrity or person you know. In payment, I'd like to boil the world's oceans dry, & steal all literature. For some reason, my head is not on a spike

You’ll probably see this screenshot floating around a lot but it really was wonderful to see Lynch put a scene in Twin Peaks: The Return where he has his character literally stare at the camera and say that you should either support trans people or die. I needed to hear that in 2017

Finally finished reading Wind and Truth. What a book, I'm still processing. Anyone from the #cosmere side of BlueSky please send me fanart and fanfic recs I need it

witch hat atelier wisdom i keep on my desktop to stare at until it's imprinted directly onto my brain

I learned about revenge bedtime procrastination years ago and I hate having a name for this thing I cannot fucking stop doing

Had a friend try my new ttrpg for the first playtest and it was great! I was losing a bit of steam on its development but now my fire has been renewed! (Also it was a ton of fun, I love GMing for my friends)

The Greeks absolutely had it right when they included a chorus in their plays. They knew audiences are dumbasses who need to be told “THIS MAN IS BAD. HE IS HERE AS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT *NOT* TO DO. WOE TO THE BUMPTIOUS FOOL WHO WOULD IDOLIZE HIM. YOU ARE NOT, NOR DO YOU WANT TO BE, ALEX DELARGE”

I don't know what this says about me except that I have great taste and I forgot to do my yearly Wolf 359 relisten

Finally finished #Arcane . I'm flabbergasted. So flabbergasted i don't even know if I'm using that word right

Reminder: you don’t have to be good at something to enjoy it, you don’t have to get better at it, you don’t have to monetize it, and it doesn’t have to be useful.

I'm being FED on great stories and art lately, I love it. Let me indulge in a little rambling about different things I've enjoyed lately. 1 D&D actual play, 1 series and character from a book

Hello #ttrpg bsky! I'm Mus, an aspiring ttrpg designer and today I made a mini ttrpg you all can play for free! nerd-mus.itch.io/till-the-fin... It's about a zombie apocalypse, and trying your best to do what you can even with the fate of the undeath breathing down your neck. Lmk what you think!

Zombie apocalypse as an infected survivor protecting the group. You have 1d12 for Muscles, Fingers, Voice and Brain. For obstacles you roll 1d4 if easy, 1d6 if hard and roll for your stat. If the stat > obstacle, you pass, otherwise, degrade one stat die (1d12 -> 1d10 ie), explain how that saves u

Just finished Sunlit Man, now I only have 4 books left until I'm caught up in the Cosmere. I'm surprised at how easily I cry with some of these books, Sunlit Man had me in tears in a good couple of places. I'll be starting Shadows of Self later today and idk if I'm ready

I just realized arcane season 2 just ended and I haven't even watched act 2 of it. Brb I'll disappear from social media until i get caught up
