Released on this day in 1978, one of my all time favorites, and an example of why it’s fine if we get multiple adaptions of the same source material. The ‘78 film is so intellectually and emotionally rich, it’s one of the few I think stands with Alien and The Thing in sci-fi/horror conversations.
