Any elected official worth a damn *should* raise hell when the head of the federal internal security forces talks about 'liberating' a state's largest city from its democratically-elected leaders. Even without the violence against Padilla, she should be removed from office on that basis alone.

My sister in law lost her life to cancer today. She was 43. When we first met, I was so envious of her life. She seemed to have all the things that seemed completely out of reach for me. I am 46 now. I could die tonight and I still got 3 more years of seeing my children grow up that she won't get. 💔
