When I was confirmed in the Episcopal Church I vowed to "renounce Satan & all his works". Without hyperbole I can say this is the most Satanic thing I can think of. I’m currently chipping away at the borders and adding, if not native, drought tolerant, pollinator friendly plants. Otherwise I am one 50+ y.o. woman who’s not super str9ng, & hiring someone to replace my lawn with hardier plants is ungodly expensive.

So the National Guard troops that dipshit sent into LA received orders for a 29 day deployment. I fully believe that they'll get 2 days off, then get orders for another 29 day deployment. In the NG you get deployment pay for orders 30 days and longer. ANY way these assholes can fuck people... 1/2

This is for real one of the big things I miss from living in LA. The irresistible smell of the bacon-wrapped dog & grilled onions after a concert, fresh fruit with chili & lime on a hot day, a coconut with a straw, the Champurrado lady on my street in January... worth twice the $$. Tip them well.
