Anytime someone says that a narrative “falls off” after a certain point, I fully expect to eat that shit up like a chocolate chip cookie. I almost always love weird plot twists that turn most people off.

Just pre ordered a GameCube Switch 2 controller with no issue. Just like…. Forgot I didn’t even try to get one during the initial drops, and just went to the site and pre ordered with no issue.

Started Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the only thing I really knew about it beforehand was that it’s the controversial one and Pyra/Mythra in Smash. The whole sky ocean/pirate vibe is absolutely hitting for me and I think combat is clicking better than it ever did in XC1 surprisingly.

Every time I hear the bit of Aerith’s theme in No Promises to Keep I just about start sobbing. Everyone in the pit at the concert in Boston was lucky we didn’t get the vocal version. I think recovering from food poisoning is the only reason why I didn’t from the orchestra version.

Okay, yeah I knew it.

Im going to guess the keys to the GB account were taken away from the crew. Something about this doesn’t read like it was written by one of them.

Man, Giant Bomb dying has genuinely hurt. I’ll be following those guys where ever they go next. Fuck (non-sexual) Fandom, and every other Corpo asslicker that’s given them trouble in the past.

Hotter tip! Adding -ai to your search still runs the AI in the background, just doesn't display it. But you can change your browser's default search engine to www.google.com/search?q=%s&... and remove it entirely. on Chrome, settings > search engine > add site search > make default

I'm so happy my wife managed to be the one to get the Switch 2 preorder in for us because I got the PS5 deep in the shortages and I'm so glad she understands the same thrill I felt back then. It's like a drug. I don't know when we're going to bed tonight.

I’ve not been officially diagnosed with something like ADHD or something. But the fact I’m playing 7 games at once, will be absolutely starting Expedition 33 when it comes out on Thursday, and I’m basically tricking my wife into talking me out of starting more has to count for something.
