The fact you have to be close/the other Switch has to be online (I have problems getting games back from my wife’s Switch because she turns it off) is such a Nintendo move. To be fair, it does perfectly replicate the annoyance of not having a physical game on hand.

2 never had a chance, I had gone through the entire burn out cycle and just didn’t care at all at that point, plus the heavy handed messaging, the fact 1 didn’t really need a sequel in the first place…. Yeah, couldn’t even finish it.

Something that I don’t think that TLOU doesn’t get enough credit for is being as beloved as it is despite basically being the final bookend to that era of zombie obsessed media. Like I was already burnt out on the whole shtick by that point, but TLOU drew me in.

Hoping it’s a good one! The State of Plays are pretty hit or miss. I’m just annoyed at this being announced so last minute, I already had my week planned around Switch 2 and SGF. At least this is after my dentist appointment tomorrow lol.

Aren’t they literally raising a kid together in 4? All I remember about 4 is that kid cooking the best looking egg I’ve ever seen in a video game and the Blu Ray Disc joke. Damn Konami, give me Master Collection Vol 2 already!

I’m down if there’s more areas like the Gestral Beach with the tower, I’m also the sicko that loves platforming being shoehorned into anything. Finding all the Manor doors is also my other priority.

I’m afflicted with “game is done when credits roll” syndrome so post game clean up is never my thing. But the side content hasn’t really my favorite part so I probably won’t get too sidetracked. Wouldn’t mind finding all the journals but some of these optional areas are hard!

Me wanting to watch this now but only being at the start of Act III.

Well you take 12 days off of a game and all of a sudden it’s like I’ve skipped every tutorial. Probably going to restart once I finish something else. Need to get AC Syndicate done.

And that’s May in the bag! Light month but not too bad. In between some stuff and waffling on a few things. Expedition 33 will probably be near the top of June.

Misread Neutrino as Naruto, instructions unclear. You get Hi-Fi Rush but it’s Jump Force.

I just dipped it to Easy, parry timing is just that little bit more generous to where it feels better to me.

To be fair, this is going to hurt the kids with non gamer parents the most. Or worst, grandparents. (Although I never got anything as big as a console from my grandparents, but every family is different!) Christmas will be the litmus test.

I was hoping there was some more details on what was up, but seeing my own Reddit post as the primary source was a fun consolation prize.

Vibrating at the idea of getting to play Wind Waker with a brand new GameCube controller.

I’ll admit the example is just someone that is jumping at shadows and letting paranoia get the best of them. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t fight against actual AI garbo in games. It’s just embarrassing to see people point at stuff so obviously NOT AI.

I hate AI as much as the next person, but jumping at shadows at any poorly perceived/unfinished art as AI does not help anyone. It’s just fear mongering and weakens the argument.

This makes sense given my habit of liking the controversial entry in a series the most. Everyone always dogpiles this game for the tutorials but so far so good for me…. But I only just got to Chapter 2. Plenty of time for this game to introduce its version of gem crafting.

I think Don’t Think Twice might be my favorite now, but Sanctuary kind of got the short end of the stick with reuse. Literally only KH2 and Days used it, every other game except 3 has a version of S&C.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Konami disappeared into the Pachinko world for years. Honestly it’s incredible that they’re making the comeback that they are right now, the SH2 remake is a logical impossibility on multiple levels, and yet it exists, and is fantastic.

As someone that was unreasonably obsessed with Garfield in my youth, and can claim Garfield as the cornerstone of multiple different tastes of mine, nothing but the most respect for her.

Hold up, there’s multiple endings? Aw hell, I didn’t realize that, do I need to worry about setting myself up for a bad ending or is it fairly straightforward?

I still need to play Hacker’s Memory. Cyber Sleuth got me through my 12 hour Sunday shift at my last job. Course now I work a full weekend shift and watch more anime than play games (less effort tossing the Switch away to grab a call) but I really should before Time Stranger.

If anything you’d think he’d be scared of Grubb without a corporate overlord over him. Might as well just be Rock Lee taking the weights off.

I think a lot about the marketing for the first Cloverfield and a part of me wants literally ANYTHING to reattempt that. PT kind of did, but then the Kojima stuff happened, and they still had to name drop Silent Hill at the end of the demo.

I originally thought she like, lost her boots during the beach landing because, yeah that shit was fucked up and I could see getting your shoes blown off. But nah, Lune just likes her grippers out.

April list! Decided to go back to some of the pre-MCU Marvel movies, they’ve been mostly fun except for Daredevil lol. Also marathoned all the Indy movies for Great Circle and…. Got immediately sidetracked by Expedition 33. Might restart it after that’s done lol.

Any company that does layoffs gets a black mark in my book, and Fandom has had a ton. Aside from that it did seem better up until now though, at least from an outsider perspective.

I really don’t know how they’re not independent already. Every single problem they’ve had seems to stem from corporate bullshit outside of their control. Both Red Ventures and Fandom have dicked them around, and I’m sure CBS did too but I’m not as familiar of that era, I came in on the tale end.

I was in an Applebee’s once with one of those app jukebox things where you could choose a song to queue up. I played the Mickey Mouse Club March as a joke and I’ve never seen a restaurant get so quiet and confused by the music changing.

At least they patched that to where you could just obliterate it with the Ring in just a few attempts. That was fun.

My wife got one from Best Buy and my Walmart line unlocked two minutes later. Our Internet also JUST went out, I’m staring at my modem light blinking like it’s a bullet in the wall that narrowly missed me.

Oh my God our Internet just went out. If this had happened 20 minutes ago this would have ruined the entire thing.

Normally I'd let her stay up all night to play Oblivion but we have an alarm clock named Olive that refuses to snooze and if we let it sleep in won't nap for the entire day.

I think he thinks Sonic counts because Yuji Naka got arrested for insider trading? I mean, I guess that puts him closer to Trump or Elon on the spectrum than most. But Sonic as a franchise is basically a poster child of a left-wing game franchise.
