Is it now standard to give multiple weeks to do a test for a game dev position? Back in 2019 they were either 2-3 days or a 7-day window (but required full time commitment). Seems like nowadays they take more into account personal time? or is just studios made of people that got burnout elsewhere?

Just finished Tactical Breach Wizards. Boy that was way better than I initially anticipated 😍 I loved the banter and sassiness. I totally did not expect the depth of each character either, light years away from the flat 2D "operatives" you often see in "tactical" games. It was good ❤

It's 7:25, I've been on the train for 1h, +20min by car, still 2h to get to the office. Yeah nah. Mandatory RTO x3 weekly is not going to work. That's an avg of 7h travel per day I go back and forth, +9h in office (1h lunch break). It should amount to a 25% pay cut to cover travel expenses. Or..
