Hank, I will say that they suck and are maybe sometimes useful but at a cost that's more damaging than any use. Hampering creativity alone outweighs any productive use they provide not to mention the environmental cost it takes to replace a tiny amount of mental effort. So they aren't useful.

And I don't just mean because of Trump, I also feel strongly that a country that can have its institutions captured this easily by bad actors is just fundamentally unfit to fulfil a critical role in human progress. If this regime gets toppled, what guarantee is there that it won't be resurgent?
