The UK has no real choice but to suck up to Trump. The economy is down the toilet and are desperate for ANY trade deal.

Oh, dear.... nobody I recall in most of the media had dared to question the CVs of the previous government.

The government is far too cautious. Make the decision now so the nation can prepare.

It would be better for Starmer to implement the recommendations in the #Fordereport which he commissioned, but to this day refuses to take action.

There isn't any need to build new towns at all. Government policies need to tackle the vast number of empty properties in our towns and cities. Most of them can easily be converted into livable homes.

I had a conversation with a couple of friends a few days ago, they openly said they regretted voting Labour and wished Rishi Sunak was still PM and the Conservatives were still in office.

That is more than enough time to judge what the government has done so far. Sadly, I still think they are failing to deliver on their promises.

Maybe people are beginning to realise that they were duped into thinking that their policies will deliver change when the opposite is happening.

Reeves has no option but to cut public spending overall throughout the remainder of the current parliament.

Labour's devolution plans to impose a one-size-fits-all solution should be publicly resisted. A more sensible alternative would be to implement a federation involving the English regions.

You're right, the present government has been asleep at the wheel on this. This could hurt Labour politically if they fail to get a grip on this.

Blair did it when he joined US president GW Bush's illegal Iraq war.

It's not just the hard left. It's also progressive, centrists, pragmatists, LGBTQ, BAME, working class. Almost everybody is criticising the government for basically continuing the Conservatives' policies.

Sorry, the law hasn't stopped Trump before. He's changing the federal government in his own image.

In all this, Starmer will have to abandon his domestic agenda and start preparing the country for a military conflict.

We need to recognise that this country abandoned industrial policies decades ago. No point flogging a dead horse.

No, I don't want Russia to succeed. But Ukraine, and Zelenskyy, are in real trouble.
