Several of the aircraft that we own came from the original SWAM at Rhoose - but that was a long while ago (1983)! Here's one of them - our Sea Venom #WW217

Yes we are aware & as we have posted before we sometimes struggle for time when we post - no offence intended & nothing against people with different needs. Sorry!!

#NAMwatchThisSpace All those types & others were part of the Marshall Plan Post World War II as funded by the USA - included Starfighters, Thunderflashes, Hunters etc. Some #DTEParchive photos from RAF Sculthorpe late 1970s

We suspect that it won't be a decision that we have, or, are allowed to make - in some respects the terms of the loan are quite onerous & with at least one UK museum have been exercised! As you say time will tell!! Here's our Lightning #XS417 for you.

It's a valid point of view & one that will no doubt develop in the coming months. That said we're not sure we'd want to do any more work on them (as would be required by the loan terms) just to send them back to be scrapped! #ChallengingTimes

TBH it's not an issue to us, more an observation (thought) about the annual process, that's about due to change to a 5 year cycle. IWM is slightly different as they're a national collection (different rules). Also a reminder of the pioneering works we did in the 1970s!
