Notepad++ is great, as long as you have the autonomy to install things. At my workplace they recently removed Notepad++, and while Notepad has recently got some of the extra features I like from that, it also has the dreaded Copilot jammed into it.

Because just by existing trans people are showing how systems are created not innate. Capitalism and corrupt governments greatest tool is propaganda and trans people look at those rules, the threats, the social consequences and say “none of that shit is worth sacrificing who I am”

AI is a problem disguised as an opportunity. I think I'm building something unique because I spend more time exploring "emotional truth," but in fact, I've missed the boat of innovation by forgetting how vital research, structure, and brainstorming are to the impact of said emotional truth.

I loved Incunabula, then lost touch with them until I bought Confield on a whim, and had absolutely no idea what I was getting into. A bit later I saw the Gantz Graf fan video and used to play it occasionally for a laugh at how crazy it was…and then realised how beautiful it is.

It’s a long time since I lived there, but I wouldn’t have counted anything outside the CBD motorway ring as “Central Auckland”. I wouldn’t have called Ponsonby or Parnell central Auckland any more than I’d call Newtown or Kelburn central Wellington.
