I'll post about like games, movies, book, and whatnot. Also just generally fun, maybe informative, maybe niche interest posts. Basically whatever I like.

I'd argue for Evil Dead but Final Destination is absolutely up there too.
And now I gotta rewatch Hellraiser 2 because why not

Counterpoint: Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles ruled. That's the only addendum I'd like to add, yes everything else is....well, ya know

Wild that people think that politics stops at election day. Our job as citizens is to hold any and all of them accountable, even if they're team 'not-fascism'.

Do you agree or disagree that Slitterhead is going to be a cult classic? (Sorry been thinking about this game lately and I couldn't help it)
Also thoughts on Silent Hill f?

Not to mention, genuinely top shelf burgers and root beer. The onion rings are also satisfactory.
Mozza burger is my go-to
Requires a good bit of insulin for a meal though, which is a bit unfortunate but it's worth the cost

I've said it once already, but compared to the last reboot - this has a much higher chance for reappraisal and rediscovery down the line.
Pretty solid film really.

When they ditched Oliver, I knew I was in for a ride. That guy was such a stick in the mud.
Also, loved her doctor (Deborah?) calling out Oliver for being an uncaring jerk. She's a real one for that. 🔥
Maybe not the best to drug your patient without their consent though so...kinda a mixed bag.

I mean, I don't think it's as good as say my other unsung pick from last year Lovely, Dark and Deep but Ash still rocks and FlyLo made a really gorgeous movie.
I think the biggest issue is the pacing because it drags a fair bit in that first half but then it gets real good
#horror #Ash

4) Larry Cohen is a mad genius
5) Blaxploitation elements didn't age well
6) Neither did the ancient astronaut theory but that's marginally more excusable

3) I suspect Bernard was not subjegating mankind out of fear like his discipline suggested but simply killing as he either saw humans as lesser (wanted to create a new species?) or for the heck of it ('chaos out of reason')

Some other scattered thoughts on the film:
1) The name 'Peter Nicholas' - names of prominent saints
2) I took the ending to either mean Peter despite being a divine being had himself a sense of 'faith' or potentially he saw it as his moral duty to kill Bernard, either works

Bought a copy for my spouse and myself for the multiplayer. She really loved the first one and from what little I played of the original I thought was awesome.
Needed the big ol' HD screen for my crappy/damaged eyesight and she likes the portability so hers is on Switch, mine's on PS5

I've taken to replacing songs of his with artists influenced by his production/style, you still get the vibes just without the baggage.
And tbf, there's a lot of artists inspired by his sound. Melodic Blue by Baby Keem for instance is a good 808s and Heartbreak substitute

Definitely The Hundred Line
I mean I love Uchikoshi's games and never really touched Danganronpa but they seemed alright
never expected either them to make a 100+ hour Strategy RPG/Visual Novel hybrid with 100 endings. A bit bloated but other than that, it absolutely rules.

People like that I’m not a partisan. Until I critique their team. It’s genuinely a huge bummer. Folks, your leaders should never be above critique, no matter much you like them, and no matter how awful you think the alternatives may be. Unquestioned power is ALWAYS bad. Always.

The names I've seen tossed around have been a mix of Michael Chong, Jean Charest, Erin O'Toole (oof), Tim Houston, and (holy shit, this would still be bad but) Doug Ford.
Of course, Mark Carney is basically an old-school PC essentially.
