People also don't understand overhead costs. The messaging around it being a slush fund may work in the short term.
But at the end of the day all people will see is the human cost of the kids in their community that are no longer going to school.

Minnesotans filled Allianz for that February #USMNT game where it was -1. But it's easier to hype yourself up for a one-off game like that. More difficult to get butts in seats for regular mid-December and mid-February games.

I'm not entirely against it but as an #MNUFC fan, the Northern teams will lose ticket revenue because of this, and the league will need to rectify that somehow.
