My brother just informed me that in the upcoming Stephen King film The Monkey, the titular toy monkey has drums instead of cymbals (as in the original short story) because Disney bought the copyright to toy monkeys with cymbals for Toy Story 3. I wish I could say that came as a surprise. 🐵🥁
