I have similar conversations with a coworker who's an ardent (and vocal) climate change denier
Like do you think I want to be right about the earth becoming unhabitable

Do it anyways
Even if it's too deep of a cut the people that get might send some pizza pops to your webzone

I'm constantly saying this to Trump supporters I know (mostly at work, who will likely be out of a job by the end of the week) - at what point are you going to judge him by the things he says and does and not what you imagine he's going to do

Guy I play hockey with is a chiropractor and an incredibly nice dude and I hate having to tell everyone that he's essentially a scam artist

I did that once at a family gathering as a child after having only ever read the word and never heard it spoken out loud
A bunch of the adults all laughed at me, which, reflecting on after a few decades, seems like a rather rude thing to do to a kid

I think Trudeau would have resigned regardless of any US-related pressure, I'm not sure if non-Canadians understand how incredibly unpopular he is right now

When the Clock Broke by John Ganz, it's about the wild politics of the 90s
Lindsay Ellis' sci-fi series (Axiom's End, Truth of the Divine, Apostles of Mercy)
A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole is one of the funniest books of all time and always one of my recommendations

It's been an endless stream of "we've got a deal for you!" notifications for a couple months now and I haven't even looked at any of them

Admittedly I was still a kid but I'm pretty sure people were referring to it as 9/11 before the actual day was over

That looks really good so I'm going to show it to my brother who also makes a good focaccia and hopefully that will make him want to make one and later I can eat part of it

Legit had a girl whose last name started with an "A" tell me once that my last name (starts with a "Z") meant that if we got married one day she wouldn't take my name
Later she left and dated a guy who's last name started with a "Y" so that hurt a bit

You're not wrong about 9/11 but that was only 7 years after the OJ trial and it's been more than 22 years since then
