As a British citizen I'm wondering why the NRA, who all my life have defended the misinterpretation of the Second Amendment, are not standing up and taking on these people and, by extension, the oppressive and corrupt government, as they always maintain their role was to do?

If the Israeli military continues to threaten and harass journalists, it’s because you’ve shown them again and again that they can *literally murder journalists live on camera*, and you will go right on repeating everything they tell you, no matter how insultingly obvious it is that they are lying.

The Israeli military literally destroyed the Gaza Associated Press building in broad daylight on global TV in 2021 and when you objected, told the world the building was packed with Hamas militiamen, and you all knew very well they were lying. And you did nothing. www.ap.org/media-center...

Of course, they could go off and check any of this for themselves then come to their own conclusions, but why would they do that? Checking what’s actually going on would imply there’s some reason to listen to something they were told by stupid, inferior people. So, you see the problem.

Clarification: That "only" 800+ faculty (out of total 3000) voted "No Confidence"* is because 800+ assembled in person, so no electronic ballot was sent to whole faculty. One unnamed Assistant Professor suggested most of us leave the meeting, precisely to trigger a full campus vote.
