Order is to be imposed on everybody else. That means preserving existing and historical racial and gender order above all else.
And the violence is a righteous violence directed against anybody who violates that order.
Don't be fooled by WNC claims about a commitment to "religious freedom."

In the face of a moral panic and ongoing attacks on the very existence of trans people, we have far better things to do than pretend that this is some abstract debate. It's not. Lives are on the line. Uninformed opinions are actively dangerous and I'm not interested in coddling them any longer.

Building an inclusive, pluralistic community starts with (but doesn't end with) listening to the folks who haven't felt welcome in our spaces. People showing up for a game night or a protest shouldn't have to deal with Debate Me Bros rattling on about the singular they or arguing about sports.
