Thames Water is circling the drain - but the govt is letting private equity vultures KKR take over. This is everything wrong with our water system. Rivers poisoned, bills rising, profits up. Join me in urging @london.gov.uk to act: actionnetwork.org/petitions/ma... @compassoffice.bsky.social

Hey British media, It’s no surprise that if you give Farage the run of the place, he’ll start winning. Time to do your actual jobs and start interrogating him on his Brexit shitshow, his funding, his Trumpiness, his idiotic manifesto, his real plans for the NHS… instead of drumrolling him into No.10

I'm thinking that the legislation around life assurance policies will have to be rethought, so that persons having an assisted death are not treated as a suicide and denied their insurance payout ...

🔥 OK, let’s REALLY test out the power of this new Bluesky community. All of you #Rejoin folk out there… You saw that we just appointed Dominic Grieve & Caroline Lucas as co-Presidents… And you know our 23,000 membership is now growing fast… So - are we doing this? Are you IN? Then join! 👇👇

From Politico London: "Dan Neidle, a Labour activist who says his tax work is impartial, suggests tweaking the policy so the harshest IHT charges apply to heirs who actually sell up". So would that be enough to stop the real farmers from moving their business to France then? #BAD

Love these guys. So talented. www.facebook.com/share/14HrgR...

Farmers know very well how to financially manage their affairs. So how come they are only now realising that Brexit would cause disastrous damage to their economic sector? Re-wilding will certainly not "feed the nation" !

Being adrift: being without the means to go where you want to go... or in any other direction for that matter. Drifting: Being intentionally adrift. Not concerned or worried about the longer term outcome.

Question. Why is nobody in the sunshine state of Florida using solar power? Economics? Regulations? Insuring solar panels against hurricane damage? Something is certainly very different to the situation in Europe ...
