Graham Davis is great! I don't know this one and will investigate, but I also love his 2004 album, Somnia.

That 2 year Cure/Banshees period is my favourite - A Kiss In The Dreamhouse, Japanese Whispers, The Top, Blue Sunshine, Nocturne, Hyaena - they all came out when I was 13-15, brilliant.

I've only really listened to The Evil One and Gremlins Have Pictures properly, plus first playthroughs of 1 or 2 others. Wonderful stuff

A brilliant band with a small but perfect discography. I love that top 6 too as MHT and Waterfall are favourites, but I Heard You The First Time needs to be on there. I saw them in the 80s, I think at the Escape Club in Brighton. There's a very long interview here ~ www.youtube.com/watch?v=J99N...

Possibly. I mean I can't deny I'm intrigued by orchestral renderings of Tahitian melodies.

My other favourite book was Septology by Jon Fosse, a minimal, almost mundane book at first, which becomes increasingly unsettling and hypnotic as it goes through its 800 odd pages.
After these two, there are a group of books that were also wonderful...

I read Julian Fuks' Resistance, beautifully published by @charcopress.com 3 times. Spare but full of ideas and imagery, it is autofictionagainst the backdrop of the Argentinian 'dirty war'. I loved it so much I keep buying it for other people. Great to discover that there is a sequel (Occupation).
