That crazy part where James is like: “Oh no. I guess this why they call this Silent Hill Two.”

It’s on my bad movie list, but if this helps me understand Marathon Infinity in any way then it’s shot up the list.

Trump makes a small turnout with a fraction of a fraction of young people and we all forgot:
Oh yeah. Republicans have like, zero understanding on even how to approach let alone fight anyone on the left under 40 without looking weird asf. From the people that brought you: “HEY AOC HAS A SMILE.”

While exploring Corel in FFVII Rebirth, if you walk into the main area there’s an in-game animation for Barrett while walking where he slips on his sunglasses. When he’s away from people and feels more comfortable by the gondola he will take them off.

Need to play the Xbox version, but seeing this reminds me how people ask “What happened to Xbox?” And I’m like:
THEY STILL OWN RARE.
THEY’VE OWNED THEM FOR MORE TIME THAN THEY MADE GAMES FOR NINTENDO.
WE SHOULD BE GETTING CONKER EIGHT RIGHT NOW.

Multiple game publishers and even a platform holders decided that live-service games were going to be every game for the last five years.
I think our perception of what constitutes as a safe success has been damaged for years by suits who have no idea what they are doing.

New releases on Steam are usually discounted prior to launch. And when they’re not, you got someplace like cdkeys selling a code for something like Metaphor for $45.
It just sucks that when it comes to Nintendo, that launch game is still going to be $80 4 years from now.

Something tells me that GTA6 isn’t getting the same-day PC release because whatever they’re going to price it for console (over $80) would be literally impossible to sell on Steam for a new release.
Between Steam code sellers and how that marketplace functions they would have a “tough time”.

Learning YEARS later that game was Thrill Kill was probably more
mind-shattering than learning Mario 2 wasn’t Mario 2.

I’m going to offset this absurdity by breaking out ONE of the BOX SETS of art books I have from this amateur artist today.

I’m shouting into the ether with these complaints but my god. I’m completely shocked here. I don’t think I’ve seen such a broken series of fights before and have not even bothered thinking about the implications of nerfing it. I’m sure everyone who did these fights would be okay with that.

The worst grinds in a Yakuza game going through some weird set of challenge rounds are more engaging than this. How the fuck a game of this quality shit the bed like this? Why are also all the final coliseum fights the same six dudes over and over again? Why do they make you fight them ten times?
comment in response to

And this is coming from someone who lavishly enjoyed the Weiss fight in Remake. No strategy to any of these things. Just wish for RNG and then Quake kill everything because actually engaging in the fights is an absurdity. Why are there ten fights of mobs and then one fight that insta-kills everyone?

I would really like it if these companies returned to the successful formula of creating games for customers.
Versus some shareholder who heard about Fortnite, and “knows games” because they saw someone play PacMan 30 years ago.

There. Just going to… just going to walk away and not act like I saw a bunch of- oh god they’re in the next room. Alright! Time to act normal.

The “Greatest Hits” line was a selection of previously released games that were rereleased starting at $20. There’s too many replies here to sift through, but if there’s one thing you’re missing it is the rate that these products fell in-price and then stayed there.

I’m just baffled we’re using the N64 to make this very silly argument.
You know: The system that had games that were way more expensive than the other system that completely bulldozed this particular generation.

This. Times. A billion.
New PS1 games released sometimes at 49.99. But then the price usually dropped like an anvil. “Greatest Hits” were $20. Sony absolutely slapped Nintendo with the media shift during this gen.

I go back to the FFXII one to remind myself that a hardcover, seemingly built in a box, that also contained an art book was a thing that happened.
I’m glad the art books still exist but I really miss having those guides. Was part of the fandom a .txt guide can’t compete with.
