Not for backups on Android. Signal for Android supports encrypted backups secured by a 30-digit passphrase. Iโm basically hoping for something equivalent on iOS.

I like your proposal. Has it been tried before, and if yes, how did it go? Actually, the US income tax is already extraterritorial, if I remember correctly, and one of the only countries doing that by the way, as US living abroad still have to fill their horribly complex yearly tax return?
