That's really up to Apple, no?

Shameful day for America.

OpenDX for example brings full native support for all DirectX based games.

I included DirectX because you can use OpenDX on Linux. And I may have exaggerated a bit, but 80% of Steam runs near flawlessly on Linux. Native or using a comparability layer, whatever. The point is, MacOS doesn’t really come close.

I’m not saying Linux is better than Windows for gaming, just that it’s clearly better for gaming than MacOS.

Apple uses Metal, doesn’t support DirectX or Vulkan natively, and M chips aren’t optimized for gaming at all. Linux however, can run almost all Steam games natively and gives you so much more flexibility and freedom to tweak things for performance. There are even specialized gaming distros now.

Mac is not optimal for gaming…

Tbf Linux gaming is heaps and bounds better than it was a few years ago. It’s come a long way in that sense.

Somehow these politicians don’t realize that forcing a company to intentionally create a backdoor makes the software extremely vulnerable, for everyone. Or they just don’t care. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah he’s practically invincible. 2 impeachments, 34 felony counts, and he survived two assassination attempts. I absolutely despise him, but he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Neither is MAGA in general.

Zelensky is ready for peace, but not ready to surrender. Trump wants him to surrender. Ukraine doesn’t need help surrendering. They need help with implementing a lasting peace. But it seems like only Europe is concerned with that now.

True that.

Trumpian politicians are almost word-for-word repeating the talking points. What are the chances that this is coordinated?

What about the North Koreans? :)

I'm already operating as if the United States is no longer a democratic power. Call me pessimistic, but I just don't see this trajectory reversing anytime soon.

I believe it. My great aunt was in real estate in Moscow during the 90s. She met Trump multiple times, apparently for potential business dealings (like building a hotel). Recruiting Trump was probably easy. He seems to have admiration for Russia in general.

100%. They are using the 1990s Russia playbook. Get rid of the state in order to replace it with privatization. If this keeps up, soon enough Trump and his cronies will be the wealthiest people in this country (if they aren't already)...

It's definitely a blessing for cybercriminals. For example, North Korea has almost replaced its drug trafficking for cryptocurrency robberies. They steal money and launder it through various wallets, and cash out by buying real estate and other legitimate assets. It's pretty wild.
