Didnā€™t know that neither šŸ˜…

Fantastic game choice! Before Mario Kart I played this game so much.

Haha no
comment in response to post
Iā€™ve got this auto-correct thing that does that
comment in response to post
Businesses change their names every now and then and Iā€™m OK with that.
comment in response to post
I guess so yes I could call X Twitter, but Iā€™ll stick with X thanks
comment in response to post
Haha sorry thatā€™s an auto-correct thingy. Iā€™ll write x if that helps šŸ˜‰
comment in response to post
I was asked why I call š• by its new company name and not by its former name Twitter. So by ā€˜theyā€™ I mean the owner(s) of the company.
comment in response to post
Oh look thereā€™s a bully on the playground.
comment in response to post
Does it matter?
comment in response to post
Ok
comment in response to post
Haha, I respect the logic behind companies being able to change their names. If that corresponds to that for you so be it sir šŸ˜‰

ā€œ4 Chanā€ haha šŸ˜‚

Why would I not use a new name for a company or person, Stephen Hawking?
comment in response to post
Its name is now formally registered as x.
comment in response to post
They renamed it to x right?

Being delusional is different from being a fascist or being insane. Saying delusional people are crazy and not to be respected is dangerous as well in my opinion. But I believe itā€™s clear we will not agree on this matter
comment in response to post
So you are saying we should treat those people disrespectfully?
comment in response to post
2/2 first comment. Maybe thatā€™s not the right wording. With in touch I meant reading/ listening to those views online, not necessarily interacting with them by responding.
comment in response to post
In person I think I could try. I could (and will probably) end up disappointed but at least I tried. And every time I did I believe Iā€™d get stronger at discussing them the next time. Not in person (as in online) I believe discussions generally donā€™t work well. I wrote ā€˜stay in touchā€™ in my 1/2
comment in response to post
In person Iā€™d find value in challenging that person by starting a discussion about those things yes. What is the alternative? To never listen or talk to that person again? And to not challenge those viewsā€¦?
comment in response to post
Now that escalated quicklyā€¦ šŸ˜…

Then no, people solving disagreements on social media deserve a nobel price šŸ˜‰
comment in response to post
Thatā€™s on auto-correct šŸ˜…

Political issues, environmental issues, social issues, etcā€¦
comment in response to post
Why would I stay here and comment to your replies while you did not read or purposefully misrepresent what I saidā€¦? I donā€™t enjoy that, but I donā€™t run away from it neither
comment in response to post
I do not see the term fascists in Zackā€™s original post that I responded to.
comment in response to post
Not sure what you mean by that šŸ¤”šŸ˜…

In The Netherlands for example, the liberal party changed their views on environmental protection policies, whilst they disagreed to those same policies before. My question to you is though: Isnā€™t disagreement the start of many discussions and eventually solutions?
comment in response to post
I might as well, but for now I still find a lot of news and topic related insights there. But did get to BlueSky to find out if itā€™s a better alternative
comment in response to post
Hey I change my opinion all the timeā€¦! But I agree on reading books being a much better way to spend my time šŸ’Ŗ
comment in response to post
Disagreements can be solved.
comment in response to post
Iā€™m not saying I want to stay in touch with fascistsā€¦ Iā€™m saying I want to stay in touch with people with different views and opinions. š• and other online platforms provide me with that opportunityā€¦ And Iā€™m not sure whether BlueSky has no fascists neitherā€¦
comment in response to post
Thereā€™s still people like me there that do not think that wayā€¦
comment in response to post
I agree, but I think I am better at confronting those in real life when Iā€™ve been reading about different perspectives and views beforehand online.
comment in response to post
Iā€™m actually not actively looking for them to find them. Itā€™s the people I used to follow and many are still there, that keep attracting others and so on. Or I look for subject that interest me and I run into many non-fascists that are still interesting even though their opinions are different
comment in response to post
Thereā€™s still people there that arenā€™t fascist when you look for them.
comment in response to post
I believe itā€™s important to stay in touch with people no matter how different they are. š•, Instagram and Facebook (maybe also BlueSky but not sure since Iā€™m very new here) provide me the platforms to access those different views and reflect upon them. Thereā€™s a lot of value in that I think.
