I hear Nigel Farage is declining interview requests. First time for everything, I suppose. I suspect he’ll eventually speak to whoever is least likely to challenge him properly.

I would like to see a few British broadcasters read out every word of Trump’s latest ‘statement’ live on air & then remind us of their often lavish statements of support for him & then share some of their supportive words for Ukraine. And then we can all watch their brains explode…

So, Farage is turning down interview requests; I can't imagine why.

In these difficult days thank goodness for the Daily Star. Please share this with Trumpy friends

Unapologetically. ✊🇪🇺

This is where we are now: An elementary school at Fort Campbell has removed all books from its library that so much as *allude* to slavery or the civil rights movement. The wholesale erasure of history in real time.

Just sayin...

Can anyone point me to the reasoning behind Ofwat's decision to allow Thames Water a 35% increase in prices over the next 5 years? (not the fact, the justification)

Amazing how quickly the security element of 'Project Fear' turned out to be an almighty bloody understatement...

When people see the maple leaf, they see possibility. They see freedom. They see a helping hand. They see Canada, and the best of our values. Happy 60th to our flag. 🇨🇦

Writing this with a heavy heart: the refugee citizenship ban is the single most unconscionable policy Labour has proposed since it entered power. It’s the moment that I felt my support for this administration begin to crumble inews.co.uk/opinion/colu...

A 10-year-old has a better plan for stopping plastic pollution than most politicians. Amaya Edwards discovered an Australian scheme that’s keeping rivers and oceans clean. So why hasn’t the UK adopted it?

“without exceptions or exemptions” The Brexiters, with their vision of a buccaneering, free trading UK, really were very, very far off the mark. Were they deluded? Were they lying? In any case, the UK could hardly have chosen a worse time to leave the EU. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Hey @brianwernham.bsky.social! Thanks for the follow! You guys have our vote now. I defended Starmer when people called him 'Tory Lite' yet here we are. I thought he'd defend the most vulnerable in society but he's going after benefits and nothing about non-doms or Michelle Mone's fraud!

I have sacked Andrew Gwynne for sending sexist and racist messages. I told him if he wants to do that sort of thing he will have to join Reform.

Senior No 10 figures rule out a full youth mobility pact, which the EU has been pushing for, but suggest the UK could agree to an Erasmus-style scheme…the principal of one-year university exchanges is potentially on the table. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Can any US citizen do that, do you think?

How could the world’s richest man’s passion project be to stop providing aid to poor, desperate people. Think about it. What comes up?

A Kent festival organiser says the industry is struggling due to rising costs and Brexit. “UK leaving the European Union has made it harder for musicians to tour abroad due to them now requiring a working visa. As a result many opt to stage their own domestic tours” www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Canadian MP Charlie Angus: So here’s how it’s going to go down—this is going to be very rough. But the big wake-up call is for our American friends. For example, Kentucky—the number one purchaser of Kentucky spirits in the world is Canada, and all our provinces have just pulled it off the shelves.

Quick reminder that in 2022/2023, members of the “Independent Healthcare Providers Network” (private companies) provided a grand total of 109 doctor training placements. That’s compared to ~75000 overall! Private companies don’t ‘save’ the NHS-they poach its staff🚨🚨🚨 www.ihpn.org.uk/wp-content/u...

Nigel Farage decides to be honest about Brexit.

A brilliant analysis of the epic Brexit failure. Scorn for the liars and solidarity for the rest of us. “We lost something intangible and yet priceless, something we might never get back: an idea of our country.” Heartbreaking, enraging and yet, still hopeful. iandunt.substack.com/p/brexit-fiv...

I wonder whether anyone at the Beeb has ever told Robbie Gibb, the Brexit-supporting board member knighted by his former boss Theresa May who polices the ‘impartiality’ of others, to piss off. Someone senior, whether on or off air staff, really needs to. This nonsense can’t continue.

This is what #10jobNigel (Farage) wants for the UK..
