Worth noting that the blood sacrifice does require blue blood which can only be obtained from creatures with hemocyanin. Horseshoe Crabs stand out for their particularly blue blood.

You would be wrong, I had many driver issues with my most recent Windows install including not being able to recognize my motherboards wifi to install drivers, far more problems than installing the Linux partition on the same machine. But again those don't matter if you aren't the one doing setup.

Driver issues happen when you try to install Windows as well. Most people don't have the technical skills to set up a computer regardless of OS so they buy one with it installed already, or pay somebody to install it on an existing PC. You can do that with Linux too.

It isn't a fact. First off linux isn't an operating system it's a whole family of them. The idea that they are only good for computer experts is completely outdated, modern distros like POP! and Mint are perfectly usable for your typical user.

I don't think that was actually the issue, " if (true == true)" is logically equivalent to "if (true)" just needlessly verbose and most compilers will probably optimize them to the same thing anyway.

Depends on the exact type, but most small beetles have a combination of strong enough exoskeleton and low enough terminal velocity that a gentle grab and yeet is perfectly safe for them.

Most likely it's just a quick solder job to fix it, your schools tech dept might be able to fix it for free and if not they can probably point you to someone who can. Unless you actually broke a pricey component its a quick cheap fix.
