My only hard challenge here technically was working with very clear smash-cuts in the audio editing, I can tell immediately that certain takes were slammed right up against others that had breath or space after them for the sake of animation pacing. Did my best to follow along.

I'm unable to tell if this is just his foundational VA voice--though if so, it's very clear how much time he's spent there honing this sword. Big respect, it's tough to perform the cool-toned subtle guy and get the volume right on all the beats.

To deliver this kind of work, you've really gained the neural network in your vocal chain to be there and STAY there, maintaining your cool and keeping on the line. It's impressive! Key moments of lift, little touches of emotion or opinion, and his WHISPER? Fire.

The VA who does Sylus has SUCH control in the range, and it's a small range for this character performance--he's what I always refer to as a Sasuke, because you've got to stay in such a constricted and on-the-line range while injecting (little) intonations of emotion.
