Hello all--great to see so many here! I am a philosopher of science who works on causation and explanation. My work typically focuses on neuroscience, biology, and general phil sci. 🧠 🧬 🔬 📗 Supporter of interdisciplinary work, science-engaged philosophy, and science/phil communication.

Someone told me that this app may seem very empty because of this default setting that requires replies to have 2 likes or more before they show up. Indeed! I changed it so that all replies show up, and suddenly the place seems much more lively. I highly recommend changing it in your settings.

It is often more worthwhile to read the best paper written in your field in 1972 than to read the latest paper everyone on social media is talking about.
