What about 1/3 devastate and 2/3 plot/sidequest hooks that you cannot say no to? 😉

I suggest claiming everything is a paid advertisement. At some point it will become its own joke.
This message was brought to you by paid advertisements inc.

Paranoid about missing it so I made myself absurdly early, then waited hard and missed it.....yup. one of the reasons I cannot do anything else while waiting to do something.

Might I suggest the spellcaster had a glyph of warding set to trigger some spell when they are disabled such as a summon spell. Not sure what level or situation you have but it's certainly something a mage might prepare.

Would you hate me if I said it only exists if it's needed? Add one powerful monster more than they can handle and let the sharp witted rogue light him up with an old swinging blade through the brain bucket. 😁

I have occasionally put secrets in maps specifically as a way around difficult fights or to provide advantages to someone who bothers to look. Sometimes a secret isn't a door sometimes it's a way to activate a trap that has been long dormant and if used right could turn the tide of a fight ...etc

Also cooking for one sucks even if you are good at it. In my humble opinion. (For a variety of reasons)

SARSCOV2 and influenza are both RNA viruses that evolve quickly. They're both more airborne than smallpox and easily infect animals, making eradication (thus far) impossible.
I do think that we will eventually find a way to end their impact on people, but probably not in my lifetime.

Without knowing if you have ever been before a week (7days) and a rental car with minimal planning and you could do a southern loop from Dublin to Galway and see a significant portion of the south of the island. Staying at B&Bs One of my best vacations exploring and yet laid back and comfy.
