while I'm not saying that trump is doing the same thing, this IS how Hitler gained power before WW2, he did a very very similar reform of the state and legal system and also took people's rights away gradually. please don't let history repeat itself. #trump #harris #election2024

they aim to dismantle democracy and when that happens, you won't have a voice anymore to change shit even after Trump's term is over. try and talk to your neighbours, friends, family, and convince them of human rights and why they matter, without dismissing their feelings as illogical as they are

I understand the feelings are raw and hurt at the moment, those people are out to fundamentally reform the country and take away rights where they can, they aim to destroy your lives and it's hard to reason with that, but that's more important than ever

The issue is that I've seen how refusal to talk to each other from both sides has led to extremism to the point we see it now predominantly on the right side over there. Exchange of values and ethics is important to grow as a society and coexist with each other

it's honestly so concerning how simply thinking that everyone deserves basic human rights is controversial or out of the box, it should be the norm, aren't we all raised to find middle grounds and ways to coexist?
