No decision on what it’s to be spent on but it does look better than feared. Perhaps more for structural maintenance than hitherto.

Residents had voiced concerns that coastal erosion was edging rising tides closer to the carriageway.

@niroads.bsky.social the prep work is well and truly started for the Omagh bypass. Miles of barbed wire & thousands of posts are being installed. The outline of the route can now be seen at existing road intersections.

Belfast’s congestion problems are not based on growing car usage in the city, a Belfast Telegraph analysis has found, and there have been significant decreases in traffic on most major routes over recent years.
