Er, here's a tip. Try not to shatter your cornea. It feels like broken glass. And you have to have eye drops for at least a year (!) Got overly hopeful at the hospital after they gave me a magical painkiller for the eye exam. Back to it not wanting to open again now 😭

This morning I very intentionally complimented someone's sparkly Crocs a few minutes after hearing her mutter at a car that pulled into the crosswalk in front of us. It's not world peace or universal healthcare, but her whole posture changed. I like to think it mattered a tiny bit.
