Haven’t seen any full crowd photos from #nokings #nyc This is a crowd from 36th to 25th. The crowd was full, at least to 40th, behind us.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch started a crackdown on e-bike riders on April 28, citing their danger. But the data shows that e-bike riders are *safer now* than they were during the same period last year.

Over the past year, Hoboken has been working on a study to reimagine how we use one of our City’s most important public resources: the curb. The study is coming to an end, but we need you to take action THIS WEEK to make sure your voice is heard. 🧵

Breaking: Newark, New Jersey Mayor Ras Baraka (D) has just been arrested by the Trump administration after he was protesting outside of an ICE facility.

New Jersey’s stubbornness wins again.

Had my first bike commute this week since congestion pricing went into effect and the improvement is *insane*. Totally transformative.

"This project is a disaster for Jersey City and Hoboken. Our community is already overburdened by air pollution" Thank you Assemblywoman Ramirez for opposing this ridiculous highway widening! We need investments in clean air and transit instead: hudsoncountyview.com/ramirez-blas...

Join us on Sunday, April 27th, after our Community Bike Ride, for the Earth Day Celebration & Music Festival! We’ll have a bike valet to safely store your bike or scooter for the day, along with our tune up stand to help out with simple repairs and maintenance - all at no cost. See you there!

This is essentially the entirety of American street safety discourse.

Modern problems require modern solutions. apnews.com/article/wisc...

New York City is the Punta Cana of America

just wait until eric adams finds out who’s responsible for road safety measures

I’ve seen the new pedibike Amazon trucks running around Manhattan, but this is the first I’ve seen of this trailer version powered by a @ternbicycles.com. Cool stuff!

@bikehoboken.org recently did an analysis of crash injuries in our city. The number 1 travel mode of injured persons were people in motor vehicles. Designing safer streets isn’t a war on cars - it’s a war on unnecessary injury and death.

The facts are secondary though. Many businesses are more responsive to the people who complain, even if they're in the minority! And they take for granted the customers who walk/bike to the store, despite their trips being more dangerous. They don't realize they can lose those customers too.

Last Saturday I joined Hudson County Complete Streets at #Hoboken Terminal to collect over 100 more petition signatures for the Port Authority, to ask for more weekend PATH service, more weekday evening service, and an extension of service to Newark Airport. 🚊 👏🏻

Dedicating the rest of my year to finding this bike and bringing it trans-Hudson.

Continuing this week's discussion of the 2024 Bike Hoboken Traffic Injury Report, we found that Hoboken’s crash injuries contain predictable factors that make them very addressable. 1/

@stevenfulop.bsky.social you owe the lady keeping a close eye on that '4' a beer.

Bike Hoboken's 2024 Traffic Injury Report has identified a concerning trend in our city. Due to our national prominence as a model of Vision Zero success in the US, it's imperative that we correct this issue.

We’re posting @bunchbike.com content now?

Here's a video of the NYPD cutting bikes — some mopeds, but some regular ass bikes — from poles for no apparent reason: vimeo.com/1064144168/a...
