This makes the ADL the very opposite of a "civil rights group".
comment in response to post
That made absolutely no sense as a response. Surely you can see that.

Ralph Nader was not stupid enough to think he might win the election. His big sales pitch was that if they could get 5% of the vote, they'd qualify for matching funds. You're just dodging. Again and again.
comment in response to post
Completely nonsensical response. Anyway, your turn:

It's a silly question. Obviously he's not going to spend all his time campaigning in swing states. That would be a bad idea for multiple obvious reasons. But you keep going on about this campaign event in Alaska in August when less than a week before the election, he had an event in *Florida*.
comment in response to post
Okay, please give an example of an election and two candidates where if someone asked you "gun to your head, which of them would you vote for" where your answer *wouldn't* be the one who you'd prefer win the election. And then I'd be very interested in hearing why you'd make that choice.
comment in response to post
Did you think I wouldn't notice you dodging the question?
comment in response to post
Do you genuinely not understand that replying to "gun to your head, choose between X or Y" with "X" means the person prefers X to Y? That would be really strange.

"Nowhere there does he say he WANTS Bush to win." He absolutely does. Either Bush or Gore was going to win and he said that he preferred Bush. "Again, he LITERALLY RAN FOR OFFICE" He sure did! And he used that run to increase the chance of Bush winning. Because he wanted him to win.
comment in response to post
Yeah, the "TACO" stuff is definitely a similar play.
comment in response to post
"Not everyone's like you." What a bizarre accusation. Here's the reality: you refusing to look at reality is evidence of you caring *less* than you otherwise would. You're putting your feelings over understanding the world as it is.
comment in response to post
"It relies on you assuming that Nader lacks actual care for the issues he openly claims to care about" No, it absolutely does not. Did you even read the thing I sent you? He gave his own justification for wanting Bush to win and it was not "I don't care".
comment in response to post
I'd bet good money that overlap in the Venn diagram of "people who like Bush" and "people who are mad at Nader" is very close to empty.
comment in response to post
He then took actions which very obviously increased the chance of Bush winning (campaigning in swing states right before the election). This isn't complicated, no matter how desperately you want it to be.
comment in response to post
"He didn't want either of them to win, that is why he ran for office." I don't think that Nader was actually stupid enough to think that he was going to win the election. He knew that either Bush or Gore would win and was very clear that he'd prefer it to be Bush.
comment in response to post
I mean, of course I am. I'd have to be a complete fucking moron not to.
comment in response to post
Yeah, I think I'm going to go with the result of an actual survey rather than "people who you happen to have talked to".
comment in response to post
Yeah, he took a huge fucking gamble with the fate of humanity and it absolutely did not pay off. Whoops!
comment in response to post
Lmao, surely you recognize how ridiculous this is.
comment in response to post
Also, you know, polling data. I guess that's no match for your "desperately wanting to not think bad things about Ralph Nader" though.
comment in response to post
A basic understanding of how human beings work?
comment in response to post
Yeah, dude, he totally wanted Gore to win and that's why he'd vote for Bush if he had to choose. That totally makes sense. "very diseased mind". Lol.
comment in response to post
"Or those voters would've just stayed home" Lmao, yes! Some would have stayed home. Many would have voted for Gore.
comment in response to post
Of course I do. Formatting is too messed up to screenshot but search for the word "gun". www.outsideonline.com/outdoor-adve...
comment in response to post
I'm assuming that many of them would, a position which is very obviously supported by the data. The assumptions can be very weak and still lead to Gore winning.
comment in response to post
Allowing him to win Florida.
comment in response to post
It's so funny how Nader supporters will say the dumbest shit imaginable in order to avoid acknowledging the very obvious reality here. Nader even said he wanted Bush to win!
comment in response to post
No, he didn't win Florida. That's why Bush became President.
comment in response to post
Florida.
comment in response to post
It should also be noted that Nader said that he wanted Bush to win.
comment in response to post
There's kind of a big difference between running in the primary then endorsing the primary winner, and running in the general.
comment in response to post
Yes, the case is quite strong, actually.
comment in response to post
These rationalizations just get dumber and dumber.
comment in response to post
Why would they do that?
comment in response to post
The fact that two billionaires are in the position to arguing about who gets a bigger share of the corruption spoils seems like something a lot of people would care about, actually.

the central problem with these pleas towards israel is that the threat of concrete actions is fundamentally not taken seriously and won't be until action is first taken.
comment in response to post
"let's not play games here" Ah, irony.
comment in response to post
The lie that Israel would attack a hospital?
comment in response to post
There is no effort by Trump to punish Harvard over antisemitism. Why are you misleading your readers?
comment in response to post
Can you explain how "must be undertaken in alignment with required due process protections" is anything but a tautological empty phrase?
comment in response to post
You are a bad person.
comment in response to post
You are a stupid person.
comment in response to post
What a stupid thing to say.
comment in response to post
Pretending that the problem with Israel is just one guy is very silly.

An ethnostate is not a state where some people have a certain ethnicity.
