I grew up with the opinion that 3 was better than World and was made fun of for it. It's really interesting to see that the general consensus is just that now. Seeing a lot of love for Mario 3.

A lot of people get caught up in the culture of a movement and have difficulty looking at the details objectively. It may have been obvious to you and I, but to people surrounded by Magats, the group think is incredibly pervasive and difficult to avoid.

I love these examples as great games with shit boss fights - and I fully agree. The final boss of Uncharted 2 felt so out of place. Same with every boss in Human Revolution and Mankind Divided.

It's all relative, though. I don't like LA because I prefer denser, less sprawled out cities. I find getting anywhere without a car in LA to be a chore, whereas I can get around NYC, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, etc just fine.
Has nothing to do with getting lost in LAX.
